CC Switch Introduction

CC Switch is a cross-platform desktop application for managing configurations used by AI development tools. It supports managed applications such as Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, OpenClaw, and Hermes.

Core features#

Switch between multiple API-provider configurations
Configure third-party providers, direct connections, and model mappings
View usage and account balance where supported

1. Download CC Switch#

CC Switch is recommended if you do not regularly manage provider configuration files and environment variables by hand.
Windows mirror download
macOS mirror download
Official GitHub Releases for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Linux users should select the archive or package that matches their distribution and CPU architecture.

2. Switching providers and models#

See the official CC Switch getting-started guide.
CC Switch imports an API key and base URL into the selected managed application. The model is normally selected inside the application itself, unless a provider profile includes an explicit model mapping.
Treat every exported or imported provider profile as sensitive when it contains an API key.
